I was staying at Residence Bene for a conference nearby, so the location was perfect. But even if you're just a tourist, it's right in the old centre, so all highlights are on walking distance.
Service was great. The staff was very friendly. The Internet didn't work at first, and it took them two days to fix, mainly because of a lack of knowledge, but they were keeping me up-to-date while working on it.
There is daily housekeeping, but in my 8 day stay they only cleaned the first 4 days. I had to ask for clean towels several times, because they weren't replaced. Towels are from the mid-70s I think. Old, dirty, with holes in them and they smell really bad. I really don't understand why they haven't replaced those yet. It was enormously annoying.
During the night there is plenty of noise, so bring earplugs. I had a room below the reception and partly below a cafe, in the basement. There was no fire-exit and no windows in this room.
There would be a safe in the room, but there wasn't.

We are situated right in the historical heart of Prague, in the Dlouhá Street, Prague 1 - Old Town. The most famous parts of the city are easily reachable by walk, a few meters to the Namesti Republiky (Republic Square).

Residence BENE is situated in the historical center of Prague at the Dlouhá Street and Benediktská Street crossing, in the immediate proximity of the Republic Square and Powder Tower, just few steps from the department store Kotva or the newly opened shopping center Palladium. The Dlouhá Street is parallel with the embankment of the Vltava River and connects the Revolution Street with the Old Town Square and other historical monuments of the oldest district of Prague.

Apartment/Flat – Equipment: Residence BENE offers accommodation units (rooms- one room flats) and also apartment consisting of two rooms (two room flats) and is in service for short-term stays equally as for long-term residential lodging in Prague.

All the apartments are offering receiving of TV – SAT, telephones, digital safe boxes, free wi-fi internet service etc. In addition apartments are equipped with cooking facilities.
