Dalesbridge B&B, Yorkshire Dales, England

Dalesbridge House is available for let either on a sole use, self-catering basis or as individual B&B rooms. With accommodation for up to 15 people, there is plenty of room for groups wishing to stay together.

The spacious, centrally heated second floor bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have outstanding views of the Dales countryside. The rooms have colour TV's, coffee and tea making facilities, ample hanging space and 24hr access. For all our guests we provide crisp white sheets and towels.

Guests are able to relax in our cozy residents lounge with open log fire, television, video and selection of games and films.

We have a large breakfast/dining room where breakfast is served to our B&B guests and adjacent to this is a well equipped kitchen, with modern appliances including American style fridge/freezer and dishwasher, ideal for those self catering.

The reception area has a small shop, and information point with internet access. Also available is a small syndicate room seating a maximum of 14 people. We can provide a wide range of home cooked evening meals and filling packed lunches although we do require prior notice.

Dalesbridge is situated on the main A65 cross-Pennine route between Ingleton (6miles) and Settle (5miles).

Traveling from the Skipton direction, follow signs for Settle and Kendal (A65). From the Settle roundabout continue down the Settle by-pass and go straight on. You will then pass the turning into Austwick on your right, carry straight on the Dalesbridge Centre entrance is half a mile past this junction on the left.

Traveling along the M6, leave the Motorway at Junction 34 to Kirby Lonsdale, continue for about four miles and turn right after a sharp left hand bend by some trees for Bentham. Follow the road through Bentham heading for Settle. When you come to the A65 turn right, the Dalesbridge Centre is situated one and a half miles on the right hand side. (Do not take any of the side roads into Clapham or Austwick villages).

Alternative Route from the M6 (or from the North). Leave motorway at Junction 36 towards Kirby Lonsdale. This is sign posted A65 to Skipton. Stay on A65 for 16 miles passing through Cowan Bridge, Ingleton, past Clapham Dalesbridge is located on the right hand side of the A65. (Do not turn into either Clapham or Austwick). (If you reach the closed down Garage on the right hand side, you have gone too far).

Traveling by train, the nearest station within walking distance is Clapham (2.5 miles). But for those being collected by car, Settle and Giggleswick are more convenient.
