From $34

Our hostel has won the Hostelworlds’ ‘Hoscar’ award for Best Hostel in Denmark three times in 2012, 2014 and 2015, and we are the only hostel in Copenhagen and Denmark to be part of the Europe's Famous Hostels network for outstanding hostels.

Our award-winning hostel has 24-hour reception, a spacious and lively lounge and bar, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, free iPad rental and clean linen is included in the price!

You can also join our delicious ‘Free Dinner’ events held in the hostel and meet fellow travelers for a free meal, every night at 18:30 in the Downtown Café.

We are centrally located in the old part of Downtown Copenhagen, next to the City Hall Square. Our location is outstanding for local hotspots, whether it’s bustling nightlife, the longest pedestrianized shopping street in the world (Strøget), famous restaurants, or attractions like Tivoli and the harbour beach. We are also close to cultural attractions such as Denmark’s best museums, galleries, theatres and parliament.

Our location means we have handy transport links on our doorstep; you are within easy reach of everything that the city and the rest of Denmark has to offer.

Our style is relaxed. The hostel is cosy yet cool, with Scandinavian retro design and a friendly vibe. Our trendy chill out lounge provides the ideal surroundings to relax or socialise and meet other guests. Our café offers an all-you-can-eat-and-drink breakfast buffet for an unbeatable price. You can also feel free to cook your own special dish in our well-equipped guest kitchen.

If you are looking for more liquid entertainment, we have one of the cheapest bars downtown, located right here in our lounge area. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy playing pool, foosball or other games with your (new) friends. Additionally there is a great value Happy Hour every night in the bar with special beer tastings.

We also have Free Walking tours starting from the hostel at 10.45 every morning.

We have 84 rooms, with options to suit every budget. There are private rooms for two-to-five people or shared dormitories for four-to-10 people. Many of our rooms feature private bathrooms and individual power sockets, seating areas, personal reading lights, hand basins and mirrors. Private lockers are available for only DKK30. All private rooms overlook the square (named Vandkunsten) with a fountain from year 1910 – a city oasis.

Did you know that guests from more than 40 countries stay with us every month?

Come home to a warm and welcoming staff!

See you soon!'

Cheers!!!

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

The location is absolutely perfect, right in de the city centre. The building and interior are also very goodlooking. The dorm was clean. We liked the musicians who performed at night while we stayed. Unfortunately, we could also hear them loud and clear when we wanted to sleep in our dorm. There was a lot of noise.
Another disappointment was the breakfast. We payed almost 10 euros each, but all we got was some slices of bread with cheese or jelly (there was some meat but we' re vegetarians), some pineapple, orange juice and coffee. The rest was most of the time just finished, if you wanted something like milk or cornflakes you would have to get in line and it would probably be finished when it was your turn. The room was very crowded, there was little place to sit and everyone was running around in not much space. If I wanted some bread and cheese, I could have bought it for half of the price somewhere else, for 10 euros I expect not to have to stay in line for cornflakes.
