Nice place and location . Very helpful and kind personal . I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends. Walls between rooms are a bit thin and we were able to hear all the activities in the next room

I came to see where this hotel was the day before I was due to stay there and saw a man under the influence of something, fall down in the middle of the road, and a group of dealers and prostitutes outside. Needless to say this kind of put me off, and I thought about cancelling the booking. Glad I didn't however as it was a very nice, clean and well run place, handy for the station and, above all, with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good value and so was room/size etc. Re the commotion outside I witnessed the day before, even if you do book into a 'better' hotel, unfortunately it just seems to be the case that in the main hotel areas of Copenhagen there's quite a lot fo this sort of thing going on. You're rarely going to be at any risk, from what I could see, and all the hotels have a strict policy of no tolerance, and are extra secure (eg the Selandia has extra security card for the lift and even an additional glass security door up to the floors. It's also on the same street as a fairly upmarket restaurant and another 'posher' hotel. Really, I'd saty there again, and I recommend it.
We had initially booked with another hotel, but they lost our reservation! Hotel Selandia took us in and helped us out. They were really willing to work with us to help us find lodging for the entirety of our trip (they didn't have room for us the whole time, but helped us find another nearby hotel in our price range for the other nights). I've never had such friendly service at any other hotel.
The rooms are small, but very quiet. Ask for a room off the courtyard for extra peace. If you get a room with shared facilities, know that the showers are small, but totally clean and workable. We never had to wait to get in, either.
This hotel is very near the Central Station, so getting around Copenhagen and to/from the airport is a breeze. I really recommend this hotel!
