About Travellers Lodge + Boutique Backpacker
We are situated in the heart of Knysna behind High field’s backpackers, once part of High fields the travelers lodge is a small operation providing all the comforts for the tired traveler or local alike.
Our rooms are all furnished in cozy African style décor, fresh clean bedding and towels supplied.
A comfortable TV lounge allows for relaxing and putting your feet up. There is a fitted kitchen for self catering and a dining area.
The dining area seats ten guests. A small but tranquil garden surrounds a braai area and outside entertainment area.
Travelers Lodge is linked to all adventure tours and you may pre-book or book on arrival for canoe trips, guided hikes, township tours and Gorge trips.
Walking distance to town and all local amenities and the waterfront. The bazz bus stops daily on route.
The beauty of the Lodge is our pricing, R250.00 per room per night (maximum of two people per room or R150.00 per single person in a room. We supply a laundry service and internet facility.
The Travelers Lodge is small and comfy and run by old hands at the backpacking industry with a more personal touch for the guests.
Location Information
Coming into Knysna on the N2 from George or Plettenberg Bay come in on the main Road. Look for Kentucky fried chicken. Go up the one way and take a third right into Metcalf. We are a big double story on the corner of Metcalf and Lakeview, No 7

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 7 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.

RSSDO NOT STAY HERE! This website is not supported by the BACKPACKERS! I booked on this site and when I rocked up no one knew about my booking! And I had already paid a deposit to this website!
Its a very nice backpackers and I recommend it, but do not book from this site!
