Our hostel is located in a beautiful house from the early twentieth century, in the middle of Barrio Yungay, recently declared a Patrimony area. It is situated near the streets Brasil and Ricardo Cumming, gastronomic and bohemian poles of the Santiago Poniente. Hostel el Raco has 11 rooms, each with private bathroom. Central heating has been installed to make sure that our guest feel comfortable and at home while staying with us.

In our excellent dining room, we offer homemade specialties of our Chilean cuisine. And in the bar, guest will be able to enjoy fine Chilean wine and drinks. Staying at the Hostel el Raco, will certainly allow guest to experience and enjoy what Chile has to offer.

Hostel el Raco has a beautiful terrace where guests can take a break and relax while enjoying a spectacular view of the Andes Mountains.

Hostel el Raco is situated in a typical district of eastern Santiago. The hostel is just steps from the Cumming subway station.

In order, to get from the subway station to the hostel, you need to go west along Catedral Road. Then, you turn right and walk along Libertad. You have to take the first left, and the destination will be on your left shortly after you enter Santo Domingo.

To get to the hostel from the Arturo Merino Benitez Airport, you must follow these instructions. The journey should last about 24 minutes.

1) Head south on Camino A Lampa toward Av Américo Vespucio

2) Take the ramp on the left onto Autopista Vespucio Norte Express

3) Take the exit onto Costanera Norte

4) Take the exit toward Av Condell

5) Turn right at Av Condell

6) Continue onto Av Carrascal

7) Turn right at Maipú

8) Take the 1st left onto Presidente Errázuriz

9) Take the 1st right onto Esperanza

10) Turn left at Santo Domingo and the destination will on your right.
