Simple, but clean and pleasant accommodation perfectly situated right outside the Old Town. The hosts were friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time I am coming through Dubrovnik

If you are looking for a homely, clean and extremely budget friendly place to stay this is your best option. The family who own and run the guest house are all exceptionally nice people, the rooms are clean and have amazing views and you find yourself feeling less like a tourist and more like one of the locals which is the best way to visit any place. A definite must if you are a family or even a backpacker heading to Dubrovnik.

An outstanding place to stay in Dubrovnik. Very comfortable and clean, and the family takes you in as one of their own! The hosts definitely went beyond the usual private accommodation standard, including setting up a car rental with a trusted source, and inviting us in for lunch when we passed back through town a few days after checking out to drop the car off. Staying with them is also a way to learn more about the city than what meets the eye.

If you want to experience the real Croatia then go and stay with the Family Stanos in Dubrovnik. The hospitality was exceptional, locality great as 2 minutes outside the old walled town, very friendly and great value for money. We would stay there again and would recommend to all. We stayed there last week with our 2 year old daughter and had a lovely time. Thank you very much to the Family Stanos from Julie, Warren & Rosalie.

Fantastic location with a view over the old walled city of Dubrovnik from our room. Friendly welcome with banter and home made herb sherry. Very sociable accommodation with outside area to chat and share travels with other guests and their family.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Family Stanos for 7 nights in the double room with ensuite bathroom. We were both unbelievably impressed with all aspects of the hostel. The family is so accommodating and friendly, and you can spend every evening listening to the very funny stories told by Baldo, the owner of the hostel. He is always happy to let you know of the good places to eat at and visit in and around the city; he even welcomed us upon our arrival with his mother's tasty homemade sherry! The location is perfect, the view from the room was great and the house was very clean. We honestly can't find anything negative to say about Family Stanos, we had such a great time and would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Dubrovnik.

We stayed for 2 nights at family Stanos. We wished we had booked more. The owners are very friendly, hardworking people. If you have any comments they will do everything to make it better. In the morning they offer you coffee, when you arrive something else to drink. In the evening there own made wine. Parking in Dubrovnik is very expensive, but he showed use a free parkingplace.
He was very interested in us and he gave us the feeling being a part of his family.
They had a great garden to sit in and the owner told us a lot of nice stories with lots of humor. He is very special and we never forget him!
The house is near the old citywall of Dubrovnik. Within 3 minutes you are in the old romantic part of Dubrovnik.
Go and see it and feel very welcome there yourself!!!

I just stayed here with two friends for six nights. We were all absolutely one hundred percent satisfied with our stay. The owners welcomed us into their family and instantly made us feel very welcome. they were exceptionally friendly and was all in all a very relaxed environment. The location is perfect situated just outside the walls of the old town, the room was very clean, and there was a beautiful outside eating and relaxing area. I would definitely strongly recommend Family Stanos to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in Dubrovnik. Our stay was simply perfect!
