Budget Accommodation South America Ecuador Quito Bed & Breakfasts Casa Colibri
This is a Trusted Review. Why?
Casa Colibri was a relaxing and refreshing getaway from the hustle and bustle of Quito. Yet it was still close enough to easily access the Occidental and downtown Quito. My friend and I agree that the house felt like a home because of the warm and welcoming family who runs the place. The family was very kind and very eager to help in any way that they could, and the diverse members added spice to the surroundings! As for creature comforts, the food was amazingly delicious, yet simple (and very affordable), the showers hot, and the cozy rooms made you feel as if you had stepped into the past with the gorgeous woodworking and the unique architecture. And did I mention the sala fireplace? Overall, my friend and I got much more out of the time in Casa Colibri than we had hoped for and I am very much looking forward to when we can "get away" again!
