This is a Trusted Review. Why?

A really pleasant B&B experience!

The location is great - right in the heart of Grindelwald, just a few minutes walk from the train station. Although it is central, the room facing the beautiful mountains (where we stayed) was quiet and we could enjoy the spectacular views from our balcony. There is space in the garden to sit if your room does not have a balcony.

The rooms have a homely feel and are fairly typical for the area in that they are not ultra modern, but with a rustic charm - and most important, are beautifully clean. The breakfast is also a standard Swiss style and more than enough to keep you going.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for great value for money and convienience.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

The Hotel Tschuggen is ideally located an easy walk from the train station and everything else in Grindelwald for that matter, since it is a very small town. The view from our window was breathtaking. Monica and her husband were charming hosts, and they speak perfect English (and Italian and German). The breakfasts were sooooo delicious. How do the Swiss make bread, jam, and cheese taste so good? I hope to be able to return to Grindelwald someday, and I would definitely stay at the Hotel Tschuggen
