We are located in first floor, on 4 Elwy Street, just behind the Central and National bank of Egypt. From here is just 5 minutes walking to Egyptian museum or American University. Near by are metro, bus and train stations.

Bedouin Hostel

Stayed at this neat boutique - y hotel.

Rooms are very clean, lines were fresh, hot water in the shower was always available! Had a working A/C in my room!

Staff, from the cleaning lady to the owner, Mr. Karim, was always friendly and courteous! Front Desk personnel was always helpful, 24/7! They are NOT intrusive, and they respect the privacy!

Although Egypt is a country, where Tourism is a considerable source of revenue, they did NOT "push" their tours, which, mind you, were MUCH cheaper, than those advertised on the Net or by the Travel agencies! They, at the "Bedouin", just simply outline all the possibles, and they are also cater to the customers, i.e. they are able to do everything in accordance to the request (I observed it, while I was staying there)

They also adhere to OUR sense of punctuality, and they do NOT subscribe to the "Egyptian time" concept! You might expect some waiting time for the breakfast though!

There is a free and FAST Wi - Fi on the premises, and they also have a PC in the "common room", where you could either "surf" the Net or work with any of MS Office apps. Their "common room" is done in typical "bedouin tent" style, so it's awesome! TV in common room is NOT blaring!

They have a couple of "open air" coffee shops right outside, so the noise level is relatively higher, than expected. Try to request Room # 205 or Room # 206. There is a 24 hrs pharmacy and a takeout place "Prince" nearby (very hygienic and cheap).

Very cheap rates too! I paid like US$20.00 per night! Was totally worth it!

Would stay there again!

Definitely, recommend it, guys!

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

This hotel is located in a central position and only a few minutes drive from both the coach and the railway stations. Outside the hotel in the evenings the streets fill with with people sitting around tables drinking coffee and smoking sheesha. The hotel is good value for money as it can be a lot more expensive with other hotels.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

I stayed with my girlfriend (20 and 19 years old) 3 nights in a double with private bathroom and 1 night with a shared bathroom.

When we arrived, one staff explain us what we can do and how we can go to see what we wanna see. It was really nice to see that he helped us.

About the rooms, first thing to say is : with the private bathroom in the room, it smell not good at all :( and with the shared bathroom, the bathroom we can use are a bit nasty.

Nevertheless, if you are staying there not to stay all day long in the room, this is a good place and very cheap !!!

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

they organised our complete trip through egypt, which went very smooth and was great value.
just remind the different local guys what is supposrd to be in your itinerary. and DO NOT RIDE A HORSE OR CAMEL AT THE GIZA PYRAMIDS. all the companies miss treat their animals terribly (starvation horrific wounds and constant whipping) REALLY TERRIBLE and you can just take a taxi and walk arround the pyramids instead without much trouble (despite what they say)

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

This is a very nice place to stay in Cairo. We arrived very late, but they were really kind to us, helping us with everithing and making our arrival much nicer.

It is in a good location, close to everithing and not noisy at all. The breakfast is included and they kindly offer you a lot of information about the country and the excursions you may want to do.

In general, it is a good choice, at a really good price, so don't hesitate to stay here.

Lucia and Rosa.
