Our friendly hostel offers free wireless internet, in the lobby and rooms, and free breakfast. Our hostel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cairo. We are happy to welcome you to Cairo and look forward to showing you true Egyptian hospitality.
Nubian Hostel is an inexpensive hostel & guesthouse in Cairo, Egypt for students, family, backpackers, groups and all budgets.
The hostel is located on a side street so you can enjoy all the vibrant life of downtown and still have a quiet nights sleep. There are also numerous cafés, restaurants and shisha places around the hostel.
We provide well-furnished and clean rooms done in the Nubian Style. Our bright, colorful and spacious rooms come with and without a private bathroom, television with satellite and air conditioner. There are single, double, triple, 4 bed and 5 bed rooms. In addition, we offer female dorm rooms. Our comfortable common room is the perfect place to relax and chat with the other guests and staff.
Our friendly, English speaking staff are ready to help you with all your questions and are experts in providing information about tourist information plus train/bus schedules. We are dedicated to making sure you enjoy your stay.
Several Egyptian and International restaurants (McDonalds - Hardies - KFC) & shopping markets are located nearby suitable for all tastes and budgets.

Take the tour that Medo provides you, is good value, you get to see most pof the great sites in Egypt, a beutiful country. My trip Lasted for 14 days, I arrived at night and Medo toldme thet he could help me to enjoy Egypt, and in a few minuts he made nice plan for those 14 days. From Giza to Aswan and to the oasis and the desert experience.
May be with a few drawbacks, but believe me when i say it was compensated.
The trip to the oasis was relly nice, Medo knows many people and is known by many people. Just watch out from the papyrus thing u can get rip out there very easy they are good sellers.The over all exp[erience is relly good. I booked for two nights and i stay with his tour for the 14 days.
The front steps on the way in looked rough, but a very pleasant place, great staff, relaxed friendly place. We had a private room as we travel with an 8 and 10 yr old, it was good.

i spent there 3 nights and it was a good choice. centrally located, not far from the egyptian museum, it's a clean place where the staff can help in welcoming you to cairo and arrange excursions. they offer breakfast and free internet connection. the atmosphear is relaxed and friendly. a perfect place for budget travellers.

We had taken a ensuite room ..the hotel is a budget one and reasonably good. they clean the room everyday which is nice. Every ensuite room had a separate heater which is nice..the breakfast did not hav elot of variety..it just had some bread,jam and cheese. The street is not that clean but many places in Egypt are like this. they had free internet connection ...It is 10 EGP away from khan el khalili market and coptic cairo. There are quite lot of shops and no problem in getting taxi outside. the hotel tour options were expensive i did it lot lesser on my own. go out and call a taxi and haggle and you save some 80 to 200 EGP rather than with a tour company. Centrally located is a big plus and 15 min walk to egyptian museum. the staff are helpful especially magdi was very friendly and very useful when giving info about places.
