The Locanda is a big Aeolian house from the beginning of the century, all the rooms are independent with private bathroom, fan and a little fridge; some rooms are equipped with a little kitchen.

The Locanda is in Malfa, strategically located in the centre of Salina, an island not only for sea lovers but also interesting for trekking, archeology, naturalistic hiking, wine and food tasting…the perfect gateway for the entire Aeolian archipelago!

The Hostel is an ancient eolian house from the beginning of the 900, with high ceilings, wrought-iron beds, tiled floor and an old millstonefor olive oil (not restored yet); our guests have at their disposal four indipendent rooms and two small but cosy bathrooms (shared) in an outside patio like the eolian tradition; the two first floor rooms have a tiny terrace where relaxing and getting tanned.

The house is located in the high and panoramic side of Santa Marina (main harbour and nerve-centre ofthe island) a few hundred meters from the sea, the tourist port and the centre... a spectacular sight on Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli, and the absolute calm due to the convenient position far from the “traffic” area,makes the stay ideal for who wants to know Salina andthe Eolian Islands in relax and discretion.

If you book a room with SHARED BATHROOM we are in Santa Marina Salina the HOSTEL is in via Speranza...just reach Santa Marina harbour at meet us in front of USTICALINES ticket office

Salina is in the heart of the Aeolian Archipelago, it is very easy from here reach all the other islands

Reaching Salina is very easy by ferry/hydrofoil we have connections with Naples, Messina, Milazzo, Palermo, Reggio Calabria and Cefalu.

The best airports to connect to the Eolian islands are Catania, Reggio Calabria and Palermo.
