Latest Review for Prince Hotel

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good, plenty to eat, and refills of tea or coffee.(Why do they not do a cooked breakfast for a small extra charge?)

The downside was the outward appearance of the property was rather shabby and needed a coat of paint, and more attention to the garden area at the front. The "P" of the hotel name was missing. The back garden my room overlooked, was very badly overgrown and needed attention. It would make it more pleasant.

The back garden my room overlooked, was very badly overgrown and needed attention. It would make it more pleasant. if it was mowed and weeded.

Locks on my room and also the downstairs toilet were not working properly. Nor was there an engaged sign on the door. There was no hand towel in the loo. The steo down to the Loo could be dangerous for a disabled person.

My room was clean, reasonably furnished, but was lacking a bedside lamp., which I would have liked to be able to see to go to the loo in the night. Overall gooed value for money, and I would go there again, as it is very good for transport links into the City.Helpful friendly staff.
