Hotel L’Ariana is a fascinating villa from the beginning of the last century. It’s located upon a cliff above the sea of Rinella port reflecting its silhouette in a bay in the south part of the island of Salina.

Amongst many legends that are told about this little gem there is the one of the pirate El Larian, defeated by this rock, a silent and almost invisible presence.

In front of this rock there is a beautiful villa, unique in its own kind that will welcome you with the joy and the glow of good hospitality and the delicious fragrance of excellent local cuisine, typical of the tradition of Salina.

This villa, converted into Hotel two generations ago is still managed by the same family, has a great location with the main terrace that access directly to the sea and the beautiful view of Lipari and Volcano islands.

Framed of fascinating heads (Mamoni) that represent warrior priests that protect from evil, the hotel offers to their guests not only a pleasant and relaxing holiday but also a hint of true Aeolian history.

The rooms are spacious and luminous, almost all face the sea and some have a terrace, are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, mini bar and safe.

Hydrofoil links are available from Milazzo, Messina, Reggio di Calabria, Naples and Palermo. You need to get off at the Rinella Port, from here you need to get on Via Rotabile da Rinella a Val di Chiesa Road, and you must walk along until you reach Hotel L’ariana which would be on your left hand side. This journey should be around 10 minutes.
