Experience life in the early 1800s but enjoy modern comforts! Feather mattresses, air dried sheets, hand sewn quilts, 5 fireplaces, two 3 season porches, wide pine floorboards, wavy glass windows of the period. TV/VCR/DVD & phone in each room, microwave, fridge & internet access for the guests use!

All rooms include use of microwave & refrigerator (on side porch), in room: electric fireplaces, TV/DVD/VCR, ceiling fan, hair dryers, alarm clocks, a/c, phone. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.

Nichols Guest House offers a full country fresh breakfast, heart healthy/special diet accommodated! Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Books and magazines are available in the living room for guests to relax and enjoy quiet time. Chatting with the hosts or other guests are also favorite pastimes in the living room.

An electric fireplace adds ambience and warmth during those cool New England nights. Tiffany style lamps add to the glow and makes reading more enjoyable

Our stairway to the second floor rooms welcomes you as you enter the house from the front porch.

The Dining Room: Where guests enjoy a country fresh breakfast and great conversation with other guests and the hosts. Menus include some of your favorites and a few special recipes of local favorites. Sit back with a cup of coffee or tea and let us serve you.

We have 3 rooms available for guests:

The Eleanor Room has a King-Sized bed, private bath.

The Muriel Room has a Queen-Size antique brass bed, private bath.

The Cameron Room has a Double-Sized bed, shared bath (downstairs from the room).

Travel I-93 South to I-95 South (towards Providence, RI), take I-95 South to Exit 2A, (RT.1a South, Newport Ave.), at 3rd light take a left (Central Ave.), Follow to (end) intersection of Rt.152, Take a left and an immediate right onto Pine St., 50 Pine St. is a yellow 2-story house on the left (4th house from Fire Station on the left).

From Providence Airport (T.F.Green):

Travel I-95 North through Rhode Island (Do Not Take I-195) to Exit 2A in Massachusetts, (RT.1a South, Pawtucket, RI.), at 3rd light take a left (Central Ave.), follow to (end) intersection of Rt.152, follow directions above to house.

Note: Providence Airport (T.F.Green) is the closest airport to Nichols Guest Rooms (within 20 minutes).
