In the Winter months, it is too chilly for beach going, but Daytona Beach is still warmer than many places up North.

February through mid-April are busy months in Daytona Beach, as loads of tourists flock to town for special events, starting with the Rolex 24 Hour race, the Daytona 500 race, Bike Week (now actually two weeks), Spring Break, and Black College Reunion.
