Flying in from John Lennon Airport? We are conveniently situated on the Airport Xpress 500 bus route. Ask the driver for the YHA and they will drop you off right outside the hostel.

This is a modern, purpose-built building with all the facilities that you need. Want to check your email? We have got Internet access. Brought your own laptop? We have WiFi enabled as well. Why not relax in the lounge and try out our excellent selection of beers and wines. From locally produced - to international favourites, what better way to start your night.

We are adjacent to the Albert Dock and only a 10-minute walk from the heart of the city. Stroll through the oldest Chinatown in Europe to enjoy all that 2008 European Capital of Culture has to offer.

Fancy a bit of culture? Liverpool has the most museums and art galleries in the UK outside of London. Bored of culture? We have got some of the best pubs, bars and club nights in the country! With something for everyone's taste, Liverpool is the vibrant heart of England's North West.

At Liverpool YHA we want ALL of our guests to have a comfortable, secure and enjoyable stay. Large bookings of single sex groups may be required to pay a damage deposit on arrival. If your booking falls into this category you will be contacted by email, within 48hrs in order to finalise details.

YHA policy states that customers under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay in shared dormitories, and those under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is aged 18 years or older. Anyone between the age of 16 and 18, if unaccompanied, must book a private room or share with individuals of the same sex and age group. YHA strongly recommends that customers wishing to bring children under the age of 18 reserve a private room and do not stay in shared dormitories.

I would definately stay here again, good location, nice spacious rooms, and good staff....the besy part tho was the breakfast....so yum, scrambled eggs...etc. The only downside would have to be the internet, you get charged to use it and it very expensive.

Directions

From James Street Station: come out of the station and head right, when you get to the main road turn left. You are now on Wapping / The Strand. Walk straight down the road. The Albert Dock will be to your right, on the other side of the road. Go past the police station and the bus station and carry on until you see the Baltic Fleet pub on your left hand side. We are the building with the black gates about 20 metres further on!

From Central Station: there are two exits to the station, whichever one you come out of, make sure the road is on your right hand side. Walk down the road, you will go past the old HSBC bank on your left hand side. You are on Hanover Street. Follow this road all the way down until you see the Albert Dock in front of you. Turn left past the police station, then directions as above.

From Lime Street Station: there are two exits to this station, whichever one you come out of, head for the pedestrian crossing and cross over the road heading towards the giant TV screen in Clayton square. Go past this and head left up the pedestrianised area towards the road. You will see Central station on your left, then follow the directions as above.

National Express: Norton St. Just behind Lime St Station
