The Marsam "Sheik Ali" Hotel is on eof the oldest hotels on the West Bank. It is popular with archaeologists, Egyptologists, artists and backpackers alike.
We offer a calm and relaxing atmosphere, away from the bustle of the city and hot sun. Sit on our roof top terrace and enjoy tea or refreshing lemon drink in the warm afternoon sun and watch the sunset over the rough and rugged mountains. Or you could enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch in our shady garden courtyard.
We are positioned within walking distance from many ancient sites of the West Bank, making it the perfect little oasis after a long day exploring tombs and temples.
We can arrange hot air balloon flights, bicycle hire, horse/camel riding, tour guides, feluka (sail boat) trips and transport to Kings Valley.
We can also arrange trips to the Red Sea, Oasis, Abydos and Dendra and Aswan.
We have 36 rooms - so we are a small hotel, which allows us to focus on our guests and their needs. All private rooms, twins and singles have en suite or shared bathroom facilities.
All rooms are built with traditional mud brick with palm furnishings.
Towels, linen and breakfast are included in the price.
Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.
