La Stella Apartments, Mykonos, Greece

We had a lovely relaxed stay here. The lady who runs the place is very friendly.
The apartment was perfect, air con, balcony, small kitchenette and a good view, there was a bike hire place next door, beach within walking distance and a regular bus at front; so we just had free run to find the hidden beaches away from the main drag.
the cleanliness was excellent. Loved it and would definatley reccomend it to anyone.
Free pick up from the airport and drop off to the ferry and free wifi.

La Stella is no doubt a very nice place to cross.
First of all they pick us up at the airport as we arrive, what was perfect after a total flight time of 12h with 5h of waiting for the flight to mykonos in Athens.
The place is not in the center but has a moto bike rental next door, and if you like to explore the island for further beachs, because the more close ones are inhabitable with umbrelas and chairs close to each other that there is no sand left free, its awful. We rent a bike for 3 days for 40€, very nice price. (Dont rent 4weel bike, it consumes a lot more gas, not cheap in mykonos, it is very slow, not so easy to handle and it is not safe)
Stella, the owner is very sweet and handy. Always help us out and never let us down.
The room was very clean, with a bathroom and a small kitchen, and a very nice private terrace with long chairs and a table for eating outside.
It has a lot of nice and cheap restaurants near and a very nice supermarket (sometimes not easy to understand the products description because they are almost all in greek).
La Stella has theyre own restaurant/cafe but it was not yet open.

We loved to be in La Stella and we highly recomend it

If you are looking for nice and quiet beaches, just go north or East (oposite center directions) of the island, or talk to Stella for more info, but be prepared for some are to crowded, altought they are all amazing, water transparency, color, temperature sightseing, etc... Go with snorkling gear for diving...
