I stayed at the Generator for a total for 5nights and I must say as far as hostels go this is the best you will find!
The location is not the best, somewhere in the back streets of Kings Cross, but you are only a 10minute walk from the Tube and St Pancras International.

About Generator Hostel London
Generator London was the very first Generator and you will find it in the area of Russell Square in the heart of the West End. It is the ideal spot to enjoy London from, everything you need to see is minutes away by tube.
When you have seen and done it all for the day head back to Generator and unwind. It is a destination in its own right and a great place to socialise and reflect on your experiences of the day.
Head to the bar and chill out areas to get yourself a well deserved drink or two. Its lively, friendly and un-missable. Weve also great beds for sleepy heads and of course youll be enjoying London life in the most authentic surroundings.
Choose from a great selection of rooms, from Dorms, to Quads, to Private rooms with innovative mod cons. Fast and free Wi-Fi is all yours too.
To get the most out of your stay visit the travel shop and our city experts will help you devise an itinerary that will take you to all the hidden treasures this dynamic city has to offer. You will have to stay longer to fit it all in but you will not need convincing of that. We will see you there soon!

BATHROOMS - All shower and toilet facilities have been fully refurbished. (Completed April 2009).

The location is not the best, somewhere in the back streets of Kings Cross, but you are only a 10minute walk from the Tube and St Pancras International.
If you are a young lady traveling by yourself in London, this is the place to be. Although it is a little more pricey for the girls dorm I would say go for it! Well lit mirrors and a makeup table, plenty of plugs for hair dryers and straighters and pretty pink walls!
There is also lock up cages for every bed and the showers a relatively clean and the water is HOT!
£5 for dinner and a drink and free cereal and toast in the mornings. (Although there is no Vegemite)
I met some really lovely girls in my dorm and never had a problem with noise.
The staff are friendly enough and you do get a free key chain to keep
Over all a real winner of a Hostel!!!!
