it was great, really good people and the best thing was the pub downstairs that it was great.
Is far from the centre but if you take the bus right in the door it takes you to the centre in 15 min top.So i think it was great and i reccomend it to everyone.cheers

Home to both short and long term backpackers, we are a shared house with a weekly free communal meal in our bar downstairs. £70 a week for longtermers.
Festival headliner Manu Chao chose Hootananny bar to give a secret show after his festival act. Hootananny star gigs include big Gypsy bands, Blues bands, legendary 70's Soul Stars, Live Reggae acts from Jamaica, Ska, Cabaret, World music and Pop Rock.
Hostellers and residents alike report that Brixton feels lively safe and fun with its multi-cultural open air and covered markets, alternative coffee shops, loved independent Ritzy cinema and famous Brixton Academy music venue. Brockwell Park is on our doorstep one of the biggest in London.
Important note:
Please be aware that you must show a photo I.D. when you arrive. We only accept passports or a driving licence as I.D. This is a hostel for over 18's only, there are no family rooms and we do not cater for young children.
We apoligise, but unfortunatley we do not check in local residents of london into our hostel.

CHECK IN IS OPEN FROM 9am - 12 midnight - no need to phone to confirm check in times.

Turn left out of Brixton Underground station and walk straight for 5-10 minutes and you cannot miss us; a big red building on the corner of Effra Road and Brixton Water Lane.
Brixton Underground Station is the last stop Southbound on the Victoria Line. Half an hour from London's top tourist attractions.
Or take the number 2 bus from Victoria or the number 3 bus from Trafalgar Square.
