Our bright, friendly and recently-refurbished hostel is housed above The Royal Standard pub - a funky bar with a unique twist, as here you will find an eclectic mix of live music, visitors from all over the world, traditional Jamaican, african and english food.

If you are arriving later than 11.30PM (weekdays) or 12.30AM (weekends), you will need to notify us of your arrival time as after 2.00am there will be no check in.
please be advised that only persons over the age of 16 can stay at the hostel.
PLEASE NOTE
Check In
New arrivals can check into their rooms after 2pm each day. Guests may arrive earlier and leave their luggage at the hostel if your room is not ready for you.
You do not have to be a member of any organisation to stay at Journeys however, we do require that some form of valid photo identification is presented upon check in, preferably a Passport, I.D. card or driving license.

Bad stay. Only 1 shower was working for the entire hostel, and the water was cold most of the time. Area is very bad, and very far from London center and not convenient to any major sites. You will probably not feel to safe walking from the train station unless you are used to a big city environment. I constantly saw fights and yelling. The downstairs bar is open late and the music is very loud Even with earplugs you will probably not be able to sleep. Overall a very negative experience. With that said, the staff was good, friendly and helpful, and the price was pretty good for London.
