About London Backpackers
Welcome to London Backpackers, one of London's Original Hostel/Backpackers, welcoming travellers for over 15 years. Our aim is to provide you with a cheap, comfortable, safe and enjoyable stay and enabling you to meet other like minded travellers from around the world.
We have a mixture of private rooms, single sex and mixed dorms. Free internet cafe & Wi-Fi, free breakfast, fully equipped self catering kitchen, TV lounge with massive movie library. We also have a games room with a pool table, board games, music system and sports equipment to use in the local park. All rooms have digital locks and the hostel is covered by CCTV, and we also have lockers in various sizes. There is no curfew, access is 24/7.
We're only a 10 minute tube ride to Camden Town which has great markets and nightlife everyday, 20 mins to Lords Cricket Ground & Wembley Stadium, which is great if you're coming for the Olympics and Middlesex University is only a 10 minute walk from our hostel.
Our hostel is also the closest hostel to Luton and Stansted Airports and we'll email you directions on how to get to us from every airport.
The hostel is less than a minute walk from Hendon Central Tube station and Hendon Park is just up the road with a large football field, tennis courts, basketball courts and it's a great place to get active during the day or to chill out with friends in the evening.
We also have karaoke nights where you can test your vocal skills and even record yourself to share with friends and family, with over 1000 songs.

Nice staff and lots of possibilities, I recommend
I was impressed by the London Backpackers. It's in Zone 3 of London, but the extra 80p or so is worth it to get out to Hendon. This place has an incredibly relaxed atmosphere. The cheap price means you will see many of the same people there every day from Canada to Australia.
For those lugging luggage it's a 3 minute walk from the Tube (go out and turn left). You can check in as early as 1 pm and if you get there earlier, there are a lot of places to eat on the other side of the Tube station. I hit the KFC nearly every day (conveniently open until midnight). And the computers with internet in the lobby is always free.
They were always very welcoming and I recommend this place highly. The only two downsides are the push button showers that need to be reactivated 30 times during the course of a shower. Also, the laundry is closed for guests' use all day as they use it to clean all the sheets. Luckily the front desk can point the way to a handy nearby laundomat.
great hostel with lots to do - they have like a thousand movies if you dont want to go out , free internet , pool table , dart board, loads of board games, and is clean with nice hot showers. also it across the road from a station which is great when you carrying a 40kg bag.
staff are really helpful and go out of the way to help you out, very friendly.
