Alba Hostel Glasgow based in the West End of Glasgow. We offer a high hostel standard and a unique home away from home experience to travelers. Offering affordable city accommodation with spacious rooms, free parking and no curfew and no lock out rule.
Our staff are friendly and always ready to help. We have great facilities including free Wi-fi, large lounge/ chill out area, newly refurbished kitchen, outdoor seating etc Come here to make your stay a comfy one in the city!
We are also located close to good bus and rail links. We are close to city centre of Glasgow (10 minutes by train), and outlying areas such as Loch Lomond and the Highlands of Scotland.

If you\'re coming late or leaving super early we arrange a pick-up/drop-off service (from £15) so that you can come quickly and easily to your bed or get to the airport in time for that flight!
£5/ID card deposit required for hostel key
Lockers are provided in dorm rooms, padlocks are required so please remember to bring one if you don\'t then we can sell you one for £2/£2.50.
No key is given for dorm rooms (due to our fire safety policy) therefore please remember to lock up your possessions.
Card payments accepted at 3% for credit cards and £0.50p for debit cards.

Alba Hostel is located in a beautiful house and the entrance hall has a nice hotel feel about it. But, to be honest, we expexted the room to be nicer after seeing photos on the website. We stayed in the newly-built part of the hotel, were rooms are quite small and a little claustrophobic, and you hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the rooms above and beside. Reception staff is very nice, helpful and polite. All in all, it is a quite nice hostel, you just have very high expectations due to the web presentation, so you might be a little disappointed on arrival.
