We are located about twenty minutes by tube from London city centre.

This hotel is an okay value for the money. Hotels in the greater London area can be very expensive. This one was not expensive, but the downside is that it's located pretty far out of central London. In fact, to get even to a slice of pizza is a 15 minute walk. There is a bus stop right outside the door, and buses run constantly; in four days there, I never waited more than three or four minutes. On the down side, you must take the bus to the Ilford tube stop, and from there it's about a 40 - 50 minute ride each way (and not too cheap either) to most downtown stops for sightseeing in London. If I were to do it again, I would pay the extra ten pounds a night to stay a lot closer (it can be done - I have looked). We each purchased an Oyster Card for public transport, which is the most economical way to do it, but it still cost us each over 30 pounds for four days; and we only did one trip to and from the city each day.
The breakfast, despite other reviews I read, was pretty decent, and the staff is efficient and friendly at breakfast. The hotel staff in general was very helpful and courteous, and worked to make it a pleasant stay. The hotel is a bit run down but clean. We stayed in one of the newly-refurbed rooms, and it was lacking in any storage space at all - no shelves, closet, drawers - but it was otherwise okay. The water pressure was miserable in our ensuite rooms. Free WiFi and the daily included full breakfast were good bonuses. There is a little courtyard out back and a playground for kids, too. Every night, there was quite a lot of noise from the back parking lot, mostly what sounded like teens out with nothing to do. It didn't seem dangerous or anything, but it was loud and annoying. Would I do it again? It's a toss-up.

The service is well but not great. Just doing what you ask them to.
The breakfast is great! You can choose from different english breakfasts. Great tast!
De room was big, with 5 beds in it; we just were with 2 persons.
There was a TV, worked ok.
In the main building (there were 4 buildings) there is wireless Lan; GREAT!
There was very much noise from other guests. Some argumented the whole night. And one night there was a mouse in our room. We saw it. :-)
Overall it's a cheap hotel, so everything you can expect is also cheap. (the part were we stayed was very old.)
But we think it's a great hotel for young people like us, to sleep somewhere and explore London.
So: see it yourself!
