For Barcelona this is the cheapest room we could find downtown with a full private bathroom. The lady at the reception desk is super friendly, but doesn't speak English. The room was tiny, but it was cleaned every day and we had towels and soap.

About Hostel Ribagorza

Hostal Ribagorza is a late 19th-century building in the heart of Barcelona, a 5-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya and the Arc de Triomf. It offers air-conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi.

Each of the rooms at Hostal Ribagorza has full heating and a TV. Some are en suite, and others feature a shared WC.

For Barcelona this is the cheapest room we could find downtown with a full private bathroom. The lady at the reception desk is super friendly, but doesn't speak English. The room was tiny, but it was cleaned every day and we had towels and soap. The place is located between two metro stations a few blocks away from the Palace of Catalan Music not far from El Corte Ingles, Plaza Catalunya an Las Ramblas. The room was warm, which was great because the weather was cold and misserable and there was always hot water.
