i had over 40 bites from bed bugs (i counted!), and the showers were spoilt and they said they "would fix it" but never did for 3 nights we were there. in the end, checked out with half refunded and went to a nice bed and breakfast for the same price at st. pancras. Not worth the trouble to stay here.

One small lift so sometimes a bit of a wait to get to your floor, (unless you take to the stairs!)
A fantastically central location for a reasonable price.
More younger backpackers but we two 50+ females didn't feel too out of place!

Toilet paper would have been a bonus and the noise was annoying. Great location and service at reception was really good.

It was centrally located, clean, and had a decent price. The only downside was that it was far too large. I hardly got to know anybody, even the staff. But the location really can't be beat so if that's the most important thing for you, go for it. A tube station is just a few steps away along with cafes, theatres, shopping, and tons of attractions.
There is also a problem with their fire alarm. It went off in the middle of the night, which is apparently really common. Have your shoes and a jacket handy just in case.

This hostel is in the perfect location close to everything in London. It is reasonably priced for the location and rates highly for everything that hostels generally get graded on. It is good for those that are sociable, but if you are not so sociable then it can also be good if you stay in the smaller dorm rooms.
