The two beds available, in the female only private room, can be booked separately.

Just because you're staying in a hostel doesn't mean you should be deprived of a good nights rest. The Orient Espresso is the perfect place for a restful, relaxing visit to this great capital city. Living over a funky coffee house, your bed will be in a quiet, cosy clean and comfortable room. When you need to refuel before heading out to tackle more of the must-see sights, pop downstairs for some great coffee, great food and a quick chat with our friendly barista. And don't worry you won't miss out on any of the fun, because sharing the high street with the Orient are sister hostels St. Christopher's Inn and the Village, the place for a pint and a party.

The best of all worlds is the beauty of Southwark's trio of St. Christopher's hostel locations. The quiet Orient Espresso, the ancient Inn and party central Village, have everything you could ever possibly need. Living so close to the city centre allows you to walk to the River Thames, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the London Dungeon, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tate Modern Gallery and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. The kind of attractions that don't need introduction or explanation and the reasons that thousands of tourists come to London every year, are all part of your new neighbourhood. There is also the Borough Market, a traditional fruit and vegetable market that also carries specialty food, seafood and organic/fair trade foods. The weekend crowds are more than enough reason to include this on your must sees of England's capital. Grab a latte at one of the cosy market side cafes and watch the world go by.

No matter which hostel you're checking into, reception is at the Village. This is the hub site of the street, with a brand new chill-out room with TV, playstation, internet, beanbags and comfy couches – available to all staying at Southwark hostels.

What Would a Great Hostel Be Without Great Reviews?

With the management organising a different entertainment every night (karaoke, sight seeing walks, barbecues, movies and late licensed night club) and two sister establishments up the road (one pub, one internet cafe) all offering discounts on food and drink, hostellers have a ready-made social life within 100 yards.
