St Christopher's Hammersmith

Photos Facilities Map Streetview Reviews

The Hammersmith Hostel in London is easy to get to from Heathrow Airport - a short trip away on the London Underground Piccadilly line - and it's surrounded by buzzing a hive of activity. From Hammersmith there are links to everywhere in London and there’s a direct London Underground connection to the Victoria train and coach station.

In fact, guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to transport options - with not one but four tube lines, the nearby Kensington-Olympia over-ground railway station and one of the biggest bus stations in London located just over the road. There are also lots of night buses which go in and out of this station, so staying out late in London is not a problem!

At reception you will find some super-friendly fellow backpackers full of local London knowledge. They can help you out with maps, top money-saving tips and an essential crash course in how to make the most of your trip to London.

Next to reception, in our Belushi’s bar, guests can also make the most of daily drink deals, home cooked meals for less than £4 a person and super-cheap, cooked breakfast upgrades - for when you fancy something different from the free continental breakfast, served to all guests everyday

All guests receive a 25% discount on food at the on-site restaurants, plus great discount deals on drinks!

You’ll find St Christopher's and Belushi's on Hammersmith Broadway - a five-minute walk away from the Hammersmith Apollo, one of the greatest live music and comedy venues in London. The Apollo has played host to the mighty Beatles and Black Sabbath, and today it still attracts some of the biggest acts around, including Bjork and Sheryl Crow.

Also nearby are some beautiful scenic river walks along the Thames and the lovely Kensington Park Gardens, and Hyde Park. If it’s shopping you’re after then Harrods is easy to get to from Hammersmith as is the Westfield Shopping Centre - one of the biggest shopping malls in the northern hemisphere! The hostel is also only a twenty-minute journey from central London and the shopping fun on Oxford Street.

Please note that we do not accept guests under the age of 18 and photo ID is required upon check-in.

good hostel. very clean and comfortable. the only problem was absense of lavatory zone, because I needed to search in internet and I had to sit at the steps.I think, it`s not very good to make wi-fi only downstairs, at the steps. Not very useful to have shovers and toilets in another room after locker. you need to take your card with you at shover and the toilet. Another problem was with drunken roommates, who shouted half a night in the room.

Hi!
Thanks for a nice vacation! I stayed 4 nights in the female dorm room high up under the roofs of London ;-)
It´s a verry nice hostel with good service! Breakfast and sheets are included in the price, so what more do you need???

Joen, thanks for everything! You are a verry nice and service minded person. However I will never forget my first encounter with the "Vegemite...something", that strange tasting "jam" that surprisingly was verry salty.

Take care!
/ Katrin :)

We only stayed here for one night as we passed through on our way to the airport, but we wish we could have stayed here longer! It's a great place, albeit a little removed from the center of the action. It's very clean, quiet, and sociable. There is a pub right downstairs, too, so you only have to stumble upstairs if you get too smashed.
