North:

When traveling from the north, come right into Taupo over the bridge and then turn right at the roundabout follow the road, straight ahead at the traffic lights, then continue round right along the lake front (Lake Terrace). Travel along there and on the left hand side, not far from Taharepa Rd, The Colonial Lodge Motel is on your left.

South:

When traveling from the south continue into Taupo past the big Mobil Station, with the State Highway 5 intersection on your right, then along Lake Terrace. You will notice Taharepa Rd on your right hand side then 'Sails', and Colonial Lodge Motel is just past them on your right hand side.
