The Youth Hostel, which dates from 1720, can now accommodate up to 100 guests in 22 bedrooms, most with no more than six beds. One room is fully accessible for wheelchair users and a new welcoming reception has also been created.

This early Georgian manor stands in landscaped gardens. Visit St Michael's Mount, St Ives, Land's End, Isles of Scilly, unique gardens and historic sites. This hostel is great for coastal scenery and beaches and walking. Bus from the door Mon-Sat to most local destinations.
Check-in 08:00-10:00 and 17:00-22.30 hrs.
Breakfast, picnic lunch and evening meal are available.
This hostel is part of the Youth Hostels Association of England & Wales, which is a membership organization. The prices quoted are member's prices. A non members supplement of 3 per person per night will be charged on arrival for those guests not in possession of a valid YHA England & Wales or equivalent IYHF/ Hostelling International membership card
YHA policy states that customers under 14 years of age are not permitted to stay in shared dormitories, and those under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is aged 18 years or older. Anyone between the age of 16 and 18, if unaccompanied, must book a private room or share with individuals of the same sex and age group. YHA strongly recommends that customers wishing to bring children under the age of 18 reserve a private room and do not stay in shared dormitories.

Drivers follow A30 around Penzance by-pass; turn at the Castle Horneck sign. Avoid town centre. Walkers/cyclists through town centre and past YMCA. Turn Right onto Castle Horneck Road, cross A30, continue through trees, hostel at top of hill.
Bus information: No 5 or 6 First Bus from the station, alight at the Pirate Pub. Buses from the front door on Mon-Sat to town and locations around West Penwith
Train information: Penzance 2km
Ferry information: Scillonian III to the Isles of Scilly. Mon to Sat Easter to November. Departs 09.15
National Express: At the Bus Station (2km).
