The property is off the beaten track a few miles from Urubamba proper, but it is entirely walled and very safe. The only disadvantage is that you need a tour guide with a car, or a taxi to take you to any of the surrounding areas.
The grounds are absolutely spectacular with beautiful statuary and flowers, and the staff, although they spoke no English were very friendly and helpful. There is a small pool which is available during the warmer months.
It is obviously a retreat facility with meeting rooms and two large common rooms, but I was the only guest for the first 2 days. It seems to me that any group that needs a great retreat facility would be well advised to check it out.
They have a companion facility in Cusco which I stayed also, and although the grounds are not so spectacular, there is a second level with flowers in the courtyard, and a great view of the city of Cusco from the second level and from the dining room on the 3rd level.
I actually left a pair of Black Diamond trekking poles on my first stay at the Cusco facility, and they had them for me when I returned.

For your convenience we also offer a transport service to Casa de Campo for an extra US$15.00.
