Great friendly family home, very clean and a great price. The supermarket isn't far and very easy buses direct into Lima (for only S/.1.20 - roughly 25p). 10 Minutes from airport which worked out well for us to get our late flights. Recommend this place as the owners are v.friendly and we left some stuff behind as our bags were pretty much full so the owner takes left things to poorer communities that are in real need of tshirts etc. A great place to stay...thanks!!

Perfect location if you arrive in the evening in Lima and have a flight the next morning. The price is an absolute steal. For spending time in Lima we booked something else as its location isn't in the safest looking neighourhood and it's quite far from the centre of Lima.

Hostal Las Fresas is a great place for budget travellers, very close to the Lima airport. It's a friendly, family-run local business; clean rooms for an absolutely rock-bottom price. The only drawback is the neighborhood-- there's not much to do, and the streets are not particularly safe. But Victor and Paulino and Sofia will make you feel very welcome and help you get everything you need. Oh, and be sure to accept their offer of an airport pickup-- it turns out to be cheaper than the official airport taxis.
