Ashcrofts is ideally situated 2 minutes from the warm waters of the Indian Ocean Muizenberg's long white sandy beaches has Blue Flag Status. Famous surfers corner where you can get lessons. Great for Kite Surfing,Body Boardin splashing in the waves. Ashcrofts is close for all major tourist attractions we are close to Newlands Rugby/Cricket grounds, Kenilworth Horse Races, Royal Cape, Westlake, Clovelly, Steenberg Golf Courses. Constantia Wine Route is a 5 minute drive.

It is about 40km from Capetown International Airport and a taxi can cost approximately 250 Rans to the Ashcroft lake house.
