Brilliant palce to stay, one of the best guesthouses I've stayed in in Asia. We even got a personal orientation of Melacca on arrival. The only thing I guess we were a little suprised about was the ammount of concern surrounding cleanliness and tidyness in the guesthouse; as it is a very old house, the owners take a lot of pride in keeping the place in good shape. So be prepared to be asked to remove your shoes, flush the toilet properly, walk softly on the floors, etc.
But it was a wonderful and beautiful place to stay! :-)

Overall the guest house is very good. The owner is friendly. Event the breakfast doesn't include but there's always snack and food serve in the dinning room for the guests.
They provide sitting area in the backyard which we can enjoy the river view and it's nice in theevening.
Unfortunately, there's no computer that could be used by guest. So, if we want to use wifi service that it's available, we have to bring our own laptop/gadget to access the wifi. The River View guesthouse is recommended for the travellers.
