Budget Accommodation Oceania Australia Brisbane Hostels Aussie Way Hostel
The hostel was very well located, a short walk to entertainment- movie theatre, pubs ,restaurants and cafe's. I would recommend to other travellers and back-packers. My room was small but well located to bathrooms. Really good value I thought. The pool looked inviting but the weather was inclement.

The hostel was very well located, a short walk to entertainment- movie theatre, pubs ,restaurants and cafe's. I would recommend to other travellers and back-packers. My room was small but well located to bathrooms. Really good value I thought. The pool looked inviting but the weather was inclement. Perhaps next time. A relatively easy and short walk to the city from hostel and close to Roma St Station.
A basic, friendly hostel in an old fashioned traditional Queensland house on a residential street about 10 mins walk from the main transit centre (bus & train) and about 15 mins walk to the city center.
The hostel had fridges and ceiling fans in the dorm rooms, a nice pool, internet access (1 PC) and a pool room with TV and DVD player etc.
While we were there there were some long-term residents from Ireland, England and Germany who seemed to be there together. They were nice enough but if you're not in the mood to get drunk and smoke weed I'd give it a miss!
Overall a decent, fairly priced alternative to the bigger 'party hostels' that are all too common in Australia.
