The K.T.C. Guest House is located in the heart of Alleppey Town and very near from Bus Station, Boat Jetty and Railway Station. Alleppey boundious with lakes, canalas, lagoons, paddy fields and house boats. Alleppey is known as the venice of the east.

We have been in the tourism field for the last ten years. Our guest house is located in the heart of the city and has found a place in the French and Japanese guide books. In our guest house we have ten rooms with different tariffs. Our guest house, KTC is situated in the heart of the town. It is hardly 100 metres away from the bus station and the boat jetty. And the rail way station is only 4 kilometres from here. We have all together 10 rooms which include ordinary rooms, deluxe rooms and A\C rooms. In addition,we also cater continental breakfast. Internet facility is also available here. We also provide back water cruises in house boats, motor boats and canoes. Besides lodging we provide backwater trips in houseboats, motor boats and village boats. Our rooms are quite neat and clean. Also we have acces to internet. We have room service round the clock. All our staffs speak English.

Alappuzha, the smallest district in Kerala, but highly economic, cultured and trade is titled 'THE VENICE OF THE EAST'. It is Divan Raja Kesavadas who renewed and reformed Alleppey Town. The town is embraced by the natural limbs of God, the wavy Arabian Sea in the west and the lulling canals, Lakes, Lagoons, rivers and the green, colorful villages. Backwaters that of 300 sq k.m round as a waist chain, Snake Boat Race (Chundan Vallam Kali) is an ancient, but still a passionate competitive game of this land.

The boat which is formed 100 to 150 feet long is run by the strength of at least 120 lusty muscled native rowers. Alleppey is noted for the coir and coir products, fishing , Agriculture and Handicrafts products. Paddy and coconut are the prime part of Agriculture. Undoubtedly it is a fact, ' KUTTANADU ' The Store Room of Paddy, is one of the most generous and genuine gifts of God in the world. Nowadays, Backwaters are the main attraction in Alleppey. Especially this place is very famous for House Boat Cruise.

Sirovasthi - In this treatment the head is covered and medicated oil is retained in the head for one hour. This is effective for Head-ache and mental diseases etc..

HOUSE BOATS:

House boats (kettuvallam), previously traditional cargo boats, now converted into as tourist suits, moving along backwaters, lagoons, consists the facilities as follows:

Bed rooms with attached bathrooms,sit, sun bathing deck and kitchen. We have three types of house boats one bed room, two bed room and three bed rooms for two persons, four persons and six persons respectively. In every house boat there three crews to serve you.

Please note that that above mentioned rates are inclusive of food (breakfast,lunch,dinner etc)

Beverages are also made available on extra payment.
