We were rather bummed to find that the "Private" room advertised was in fact a room within a larger bungalow with several other small rooms - NOT one of the private huts that are scattered around. We did have a private ensuite, but the living area, balcony, etc. was all shared. And there wasn't a lock on our door or even curtains.

Fiji's newest attraction. Situated in the famous Mamanuca group of islands famous for its pristine white sandy beaches, turquoise ocean and world famous surf breaks.

A scenic 30 min transfer from Nadi and you will arrive at your island paradise. You have two levels of acommodation to choose from: Dormitory 6 per room to Private Oceanview Lodges with private facilities.

All rooms include three meals per day including a three course dinner. The resort has three bars to choose from including Fiji's now famous Rock Bar.

We were rather bummed to find that the "Private" room advertised was in fact a room within a larger bungalow with several other small rooms - NOT one of the private huts that are scattered around. We did have a private ensuite, but the living area, balcony, etc. was all shared. And there wasn't a lock on our door or even curtains. So it was not really a very private experience at all!
After we got over that initial surprise, we got to know some of our other fellow residents and enjoyed some pretty good times here. The staff are friendly in a typical Fijian way.
An interesting note is that this resort actually featured in a TV show flop called "The Resort".
