What a joke! We show up on the Sunday night to find that the rooms we have booked have been reserved incorrectly... this means we can stay in dorms (we booked private rooms) or half of us could stay down the road in another backpackers. Someone there seriosuly needs glasses or a reading test completed. All we were offered is a cheaper rate (still a bit pricey) and the offer for a free drink in their bar.... hmmm not good customer service. To add insukt to injury, we were advised by this website that we did not need to book a parking space for our rental car. When we arrived there were no pakring spaces left, leaving us again in the learch. We ended up parking out the front in a dodgy park. Lets just say if I could of given no stars I would I of. Do not go here unless you want crap service, loud music playing all night and the possibility of a police raid in the morning.

OUR LOCATION
400mts from the Roma St bus & train station. We are in a safe part of the city centre. Our street has good lighting at night and the hostel is secure. Coles supermarket is conveniently located across the road with Southbank parklands, travel agents, cinemas and Suncorp stadium all just as accessible. The Queen St Mall is 10/15 minutes walk away but the best thing about our location is the view of the river city from the rear sun decks of our property.
Check-in policy:
In the interests of security, all guests are required to produce government photo ID on check-in. Persons wishing to stay in our backpacking dormitory accommodation are required to have with them, a full sized travellers backpack. A backpack is not required to stay in a single, twin or double room.

Please be aware that Brisbane City Backpackers charges $1 for all card service transactions.
ARRIVAL TIME POLICY
Be aware that bookings stating a local arrival time, before 4am will be booked as follows. Example bookings made for the night of the 15/07/2012 arrival time 00:00-04:00 will infact have booked the night 14/07/2012, checking-out at 10am on the 15/07/2012.
CHECK-IN POLICY
In the interests of security, all guests are required to produce government photo ID on check-in.
Persons wishing to stay in our backpacking dormitory accommodation are required to have with them, a full sized travellers backpack. A backpack is not required to stay in a single, twin or double room.
