worst hostel I've stayed in.

it's far from the center, rooms were too full (they just pulled in two extra strechers to let people sleep.) ventilation is very bad, my back hurted for many days after sleeping on these beds. For the price you are paying this is very bad.

About Hostel Stadion

We offer you the best value in Helsinki. Our Hostel is located right in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. All the main sites of the capital are within easy walking distance. We have a few private rooms and a wide range of dormitory accommodations.

Our prices are economical, 20 E / person / night, including bed linen. Finnish breakfast buffet (6 E) is served daily in our cafeteria. Our social areas are spacious, including a few tv rooms, lobbies, dining room, guest kitchen and laundry. Internet connection is available in the lobby.

We are happy to attend also groups. Our large dormitories suit well especially for student groups or sport teams.

We know well our city and the rest of Finland. You can get all the travel information from our reception. See You soon in Helsinki!

Directions

We are located right in the Olympic Stadium of Helsinki on it's northern curve. All the main sites of the capital are within easy walking distance. We are surrounded by several sport arenas, close to the Finnish National Opera.

It is always easy to find us - the 72 meter high tower of the Olympic Stadium is visible almost anywhere in Helsinki. We are located 100 meters north from the tower, in the northern curve of the Stadium. Our street address is Pohjoinen Stadiontie 3 B

Helsinki Airport (HEL) is located 18 kms from us. From the airport, you can take the Finnair bus to town, and ask the driver to drop you off by the Opera house, from where it is a 500 meter walk to our hostel.

Helsinki Railway Station is located about 1,5 kms south of us. It is a 15 minute walk from there to our hostel. You can also take a tram # 3B in front of the railway station or trams # 3T or # 7A in Mannerheimintie. In both cases ask the driver to drop you off by the Aurora Hospital, from where it is a 200 meter walk to our hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by bus from west, north or east, ask the driver to drop you off by the Opera house, from where it is a 500 meter walk to our hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by Silja Line or Linda Line ferries, take the tram # 3 (B or T - no difference!), and ask the driver to drop you off by the Aurora Hospital, from where it is a 200 meter walk to our hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by Viking Line, Nordic Jet Line or Sea Wind ferries, take the tram # 4, and ask the driver drop you off by the 'Töölön Halli', from where it is a 500 meter walk to our hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by Tallink or Eckerö Line ferries, take the bus # 15 to Ruoholahti metro station, and change there to tram # 8, and ask the driver drop you off by the Opera House, from where it is a 500 meter walk to our hostel.

For those who arrive with their own vehicles, we have plenty of free parking places on our courtyard. Bicycles can be stored in our garage.
