Situated in the heart of Essaouira medina, in a calm neighborhood, within a few steps of the souks and at only a few minutes of the harbor and the beach, Dar Nafoura welcomes you in a guest house organized around a patio with a fountain.

The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 suites, lounges and a big terrace allowing sun bathing without being overlooked.

The guesthouse is organized around a patio with a fountain; we have a large private terrace perfect for relaxing under the sun.

Reception

The reception is open all day. In case you come late, you’ll be received by the night watchman.

You can call us if you wish us to wait for you at the parking lot in Bab Marrakech.

This parking lot is guarded 24h/24h and is only some minutes from Dar Nafoura (20dh/ 24 hours). For 10 DH, porters will help you carry your luggage to the Riad.

During the tea reception, we give you the map of the medina and inform you on places to see, the good restaurants, and the different activities.

Breakfast

Breakfast, which is included in the tariffs, is served on the terrace or on the ground floor according to the season.

In addition to the continental breakfast, Khadija, our cook, will serve you each day a different traditional dish.

Dinner

Traditional dinners are served on request for the price of 130 dirham for adults and 90 dirham for kids less than 12 years old.

Internet

Wifi system is available in the house. You can get connected easily, for free and without a code, using you laptop on the ground floor.

Comfort

The linen is provided by the house (2 towels per person a day)

The weather in Essaouira is never too hot nor too cold but winters can be humid. The chimney on the ground floor keeps the house warm and we keep electric heaters at your disposal.

Cooking lessons

On reservation, a "cuisine" workshop is open from 14h to 16h.

The city of Essaouira and its suburbs offer a range of entertainment: we do all the

reservations for you: massage, hammam, trekking, horse or camel ride, quad, surf, kite-surf …

Payment

Payment can be done in cash (dirham or euros) or by cheque. We accept credit cards but, due to high cost in Morocco, we ask for a share of expenses for this type of payment.

Transfer from airport to the house can be done by taxi. You just let us know about your time and place of arrival. The tariffs are 15 euros for an arrival in Essaouira, 60 euros for an arrival in Marrakech and 130 euros for Casablanca.

By bus from Marrakech: 6.50 euros

You need to get off at Bab Marrakech, take Mohammed Algori and 3 streets on your right and then staright to our hotel.
