La Casetta

Photos Facilities Map Streetview Reviews

Our Apartment is in Corniglia, the third village of the 5 Lands, which is highly appreciated by everyone for its panoramic terraces!

The location offers a breathtaking view and wonderful paths which connect Corniglia to Vernazza and to Manarola.

The apartment is situated in the centre of Corniglia, in a excellent position.

We offer a double bedroom ( or twin bed if preferred), bathroom and kitchen. There is also a sofabed and two sun terraces, one has a stunning seaview.

The terraces are perfect for relaxing or having breakfast and dinner as they are equipped with table, deckchairs and light for the evening.

Air conditioning only in June jujy and August. Little/medium size pets are welcome. We live near the apartment and we are very happy to satisfy costumer's needs and questions.

La Casetta was just the perfect place to stay. We felt very comfortable and would definitely choose it again if life takes us back to Cinque Terre one day.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

This apartment was excellent value for money. It is located in Corniglia which is the middle of the 5 towns in the Cinque Terre. Because this town has 365 steps to the top, it is not overrun with tourists. Having said that, a green shuttle bus takes you to the top, so you don't have to walk all that way with the luggage. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The best features were the two outdoor terraces - one outside the kitchen and one on the roof. The one on the roof had magnificent views of the water. However, access to both terraces is through a very narrow doorway (this was not a problem for us). Elisabetta greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful - she provided us with maps of the Cinque Terre and transport timetables etc.

Tucked away in a quiet area not far from the square - skinniest doorway ever to get up to the deck, but a very clean, cheap and convenient place to stay.

If we were to return to Cinque Terre, we would definitely stay here again. Corniglia is somewhat of a haven from the extremely busy-with-tourists other villages, and we felt lucky to have found this apt. The host is very gracious and flexible, and the apartment was very homey and clean. Thank you!

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

We were a couple staying in this apartment for 4 nights. We were so incredibly impressed with not only the accommodation, but also with the little village itself. We cooked every day in the fully equipped kitchen upstairs, but eating out in town was quite reasonably priced as well. The bedroom had air-con and an ensuite, and upstairs had the kitchen with a couch, dining table. fridge, etc. Outside was a little eating area, and then you also had the roof terrace, with another seating area and views (glimpses) of the ocean. The accommodation price was fantastic value for money. The lady who owned the apartment, Elizabetta, was extremely helpful and was always too happy to give guidence and advice with all our questons. The village, Corniglia, was definitely the quietest of all 5 villages along the Cinque Terre. Therefore if you are after a quiet and relaxing time, with hardly as many tourists, this is the place for you. There is also an amazing rock beach down at the base of Corniglia, which is gorgeous and not crowded at all. Fantastic for sun-bathing and swimming. We are definitely coming back again next year!!
