After spending a week on a farm in the mountains we wanted to come back to Chiang Mai and relax in some comfort without busting the budget. The Rainforest Boutique was just the tonic we needed, with clean, comfortable rooms and a nice swiming pool to cool off in during the day and all for a very reasonable price. The service was very good and the staff were able to arrange anything we could possibly need. The only issue some people might have is the fact that the hotel is about 5km from the Old City and it simply isn't possible to walk in there. It wasn't an issue for us because we hired a scooter and could come and go as we pleased but for those of you less confident about braving the Thai traffic, you will have to rely on taxis to get you about the place.

Nice room big comfy bed cris clean linen but To far away from town and nowhere near any forest. My first night I found a 150 mm
Centipede wandering round my room and in the morning foul black water came through my sink tap then the Internet stopped working. the restaurant staff were lovely and helpful and the food not bad good choice at breakfast. I moved to manees house in town half the price and can walk to most places of interest to me, markets,temples,food.

In order to get to the Rainforest Boutique Hotel from the Chiang Mai International Airport by car, you need to follow these instructions:
1) Head north and Turn right toward Route 1141/Mahidol
2) Turn right at Route 1141/Mahidol
3) Take the ramp onto Route 1141/Mahidol Continue to follow Route 1141
4) Take the ramp
5) Keep right at the fork
6) Turn left toward Route 11
7) Continue straight onto Route 11
8) Turn left at Charoen Muang Rd
9) Turn left at Charoen Muang Rd Soi 5 and the destination will be on the left
The Rainforest Boutique Hotel is only 2 minutes away from the Chiang Mai Railway Station. When you exit this station, you need to head north along Rottai Road then turn right at Charoen Muang Road. After you need to walk along and turn right at Charoenmuang Road, Soi 5. The destination will on the left hand side.
The hotel offers a pick up service from the Chiang Mai Railway Station.
