Lovely mother in law. Great breakfast. Informative host. Location far but it's nice to be in a locale that isn't geared toward tourism. A few stares when you walk around but smiling goes a long way in Sri Lanka. Good wifi connection.

The hosts went out of their way to be helpful but were perhaps a bit too eager! Certainly need more facilities for hanging up clothes but overall very good value.

My wife and I, first time visitors to Sri Lanka, had a pleasant stay here. The hosts were were friendly and helpful folks who gave us a lot of advise on how to get about and where to visit in Colombo and the surrounding areas. Regarding the rooms, it was quite uncomfortable not having a lock on the door to our room. It would also have helped if the rooms were cleaned regularly and if it had a cupboard/shelf to stack our stuff during the stay. As we spent most of our time outside, the room was quite ok. People looking to spend more time indoors might miss a TV. Having said this, the guesthouse is very close to some nice restaurants, shopping complexes, the railway station and the local bus stand and is located in a quiet residential area.

Just an amazing stay! we only booked one night but then returned for another 3 nights. The location is the only down side as the immediate area is not that inviting to tourists, but we were looking to learn about the people and to us that was fantastic. The family included us in everything, from giving bread rolls to the poor to going with them to the Cricket! We hired them as Taxi driver for the day visits to the beach etc. all at a good fair price
I am so fussy with Indian type food they often made me my own meal.Definitely go back if in Sri Lanka as they are friends now

We have started this guest house as a family business which gives us immense pleasure and satisfaction to see our guests appreciate our efforts in providing them whatever necessary as per their individual requirements and taste.
