Located in the centre of Ghisonaccia the CASA DI MARIA is only just 4 Km from a sandy beach, on the edge of Corsica's biggest maritime pine forest (the Pinia Forest). 12 Km from the renowned Inzecca gorge with it's crystal clear and refreshing water ideal for swimming or trout fishing. 41 Km from the Ghisoni ski resort at the foot of the Kiry-Aleison where, according to an ancient legend, the Giovanales, the last Corsican Cathars, were declared heretical by the Roman Catholic church and were persecuted and executed. Being centrally located our hotel is ideal for those wishing to visit the island without having to travel too far. What's more our region is well equipped for all outdoor activities: on land there is bathing in numerous rivers, canyoning, rafting, fishing, walking, or the mythic coast to coast or GR20 hiking trail by ski, quad or horseback. Maritime activities include swimming, sailing or boating and other nautical sports with or without a skipper. For those hoping to get away from the stress of their regular life, the magnificent balneotherapy centre (which is awaiting classification as a Thalasso Therapy Centre) is only 20 miles away.

Directions
By Car:
From Bastia, take the direction of Porto-Vecchio. Continue along the N193 via Buguglia, Casamozza, Querciolo, Folelli, Santa Lucia Di Moriani, Cateraggio-Aleria. When you get to Ghisonaccia continue along the Avenue du 9 Septembre. Turn right onto Ghisoni Street.
By Public Transport:
The bus from Bastia or Porto-Vecchio stops at the Le Qui Fà Bar on the northern side of Ghisonaccia. Continue by taxi or by foot along the Avenue du 9 September. Turn right onto Ghisoni Street. The hotel is 120m further on, on the right.
