Paying 22 euros per diem for accommodation in a three bed room speaks for itself, when in Nice. I found both the proprietor and his wife both very helpful and responsive to to any enquires. Both were able to respond to questions asked in English and provide more than adequate explanations.

About Hotel Pastoral
Hotel Pastoral is located in the heart of Nice just 5 minutes from the train station and only 15 minutes from the beaches and the old town.
There is also some public parking close to the hotel as well as host of conveniences.
Rooms are clean and safe and all the beds are new!. There are fridges and microwave in every room .ALL THE DORM AND ROOM HAVE AIR CONDITIONING.
-FREE WIFI IN THE ROOM.
If you plan to check-in at midnight or later just let us know in advance.Once you are here there is NO CURFEW so you may come back at any time.
Young and frendly atmosphere.

For its location and convenience it is central to both the Railway Station and the incoming bus from the Airport; for the first time visitor this is a plus!!
I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to anyone who required inexpensive overnight lodging.Merci mon ami

I have stayed in Pastoral for 3 days only but have to admit that enjoyed the whole duration. Although Pastoral is more hostel like, the service and conditions are excellent for the price I have paid. Located close to the train station, 15 min to the beach.Rooms in very good sizes, equiped with air conditioning, fridges, microwaves and free wifi!Would recomend to both families and young travellers.
The guy on the counter was very good.
Free internet and being able to borrow towels for the beach was good.

From the main railway station walk left up to Jean Medecin, then cross the avenue to pass between the pharmacie and the restoring (KFC) is opposite you on the street Assalit.
From the airport take the bus 23 OR 99 to the station and follow the same direction.
