Bohemia Central is located in the heart of Cairns, Far North Queensland, within walking distance from all the City Centre attractions, bars, clubs, restaurants, etc.
The Cairns Central shopping complex and cinemas is approximately 2 minutes walk away and the famous Esplanade, with its variety of restaurants and fabulous views of the ocean is within around 5 minutes walk.
Bohemia Central offers first class hostel accommodation at an affordable, budget price.
A beautiful historic Queenslander building which has been fully renovated gives you a choice of room configurations - single, twin, double and queen standard rooms, executive queen rooms, or a hostel style room with 4 or 6 beds, all air-conditioned.
Free Daily Continental Breakfast is included in the low room rate. A hot breakfast is available for a very reasonable cost if you prefer.
Our friendly staff will ensure that your stay at Bohemia Central is enjoyable and filled with fun and adventure. They have an abundance of Cairns local knowledge and are happy to advise you and book you on available tours in Far North Queensland. They can even arrange a hire car for you so you can explore the Cairns and Far North region at your own leisure.
Reception is open from 6.30 a.m. until 10 pm 7 days a week and we have staff on site 24/7 to cater for the needs of our guests no matter what time of day or night.
Directions: Located at 100 Sheridan St near Aplin St corner, 10 minutes drive from the Cairns Airport, 5 minutes drive from Bus Station and 5 minutes walk from the Train Station. Pick up is available from the airport by prior arrangement.

RSSA big place but still decent enough. It's located a few blocks from the Esplanade (sea/water front) but not out-of-town by any means.
It was quiet when we went (during New Year) but there's a decent bar that I would think gets pretty busy during peak season!
There's also a pool to cool off in and air con in the rooms (vital in humid summer months!).
