Budget Accommodation > Europe > France > Paris > Hostels > Absolute Paris
Location: The hostel is easy enough to find and get to. It's very close to one of the main metro station: Republique.
Breakfast: Very very basic. Have had better breakfast in other hostels with the similar or lower price paid.
Helpfulness: Only 1 out of the 3 staff (that I've dealt with) showed more insterests in helping with ours (and others people's) queries.

Helpfulness: Only 1 out of the 3 staff (that I've dealt with) showed more insterests in helping with ours (and others people's) queries. One actually told me the reception is DEFINITELY closed at 2am and ALL LIGHTS WILL BE SWITCHED OFF, when the reception is actually available for 24-hours. Seemed to me that he didn't want to be disturbed after hours. (I overheard) The same person also told a tenant to go check the map or internet herself when she asked him to recommend somewhere to go out for a drink/food.
Facilities: TV, shower & toilet in the room. But no chillout area. The so called dinning/chillout area is actullay in the dungeon (i.e. underground, small and basic wihtout windows). WiFi service is not as good as other hostels that I've stayed at. Only 2 out of 3 internet computers were working, and they are situated together at the reception area.
Overal: Would try to find some where else to saty next time in Paris. But keep this hostel as a backup if only no other availabilites.
Cheers & Happy travelling!

So, you'll need to reach the metro station 'République ' ( line 3,5,8,9,11 ). And follow the exit 'Sortie rue du Faubourg du temple', the street which makes the corner with a shop named ' Habitat',( rue du Faubourg du Temple ) on the back of the statue. After one block walking on that street, you'll see a Mc Donald ( ! ) we are accross the street...
