Excellent value for your money for someone like us, who likes to stay in historic city cores having all important historic places nearby.
The rooms are spacious, clean, brightly decorated and equipped. The kitchenette is somewhat small and could offer a bit more storage and fridge space, but overall is sufficient for a couple.
The beds are large but unfortunately twin beds pushed together and very soft, giving one's back a hard time.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull with sufficient knowledge of the main languages to support foreign travelers in their needs.
The free Wi-Fi within the lounge area is another plus, although Madeira luckily makes this almost unnecessary thanks to the free Madeira Wifi offered by all Communities in their main places and markets.
