Espinho, one of the main tourist resorts of northern Portugal, is a vibrant and modern city as well as an excellent spot for surf and body board lovers.

Espinho, with an extensive beach line, provides the traveler with a variety of entertainment options, for instance the many cultural events, some internationally renowned as the “Cinanima – International Animated Film Festival”; the secular weekly fair taking place every Monday; the exciting nightlife with its many restaurants, bars and clubs or even the adrenaline that comes from risking luck at Espinho Casino.

The train stations within the town are all within walking distance from the hostel. Head for R.33 and walk almost to the end, until you reach R. do Porto. Turn right, then the 1st left and the 1st right into R.da Nave. You will find the hostel at the next street.

This is a long walk, so we also recommend if you have bags to simply catch a taxi from any of the train stations. It will be a 5 minute journey at a minimal cost.
